Overseas Absentee Voting
CLARIFICATION ON USE OF THE PAPER SEAL (OVF No. 12)
10 April 2013 – The ballot envelopes mailed directly by the COMELEC-Manila to registered overseas voters who will participate in the 13 May 2013 elections contain the following:
1. Official Ballot,
2. Paper seal (OVF No. 12),
3. Official Ballot Envelope,
4. Official List of Candidates, and
5. Instructions to Voters.
The ballot envelope contains only one paper seal (OVF No. 12), which should be used to seal the accomplished ballot.
The accomplished ballot is then placed inside the ballot envelope. The envelope will not be sealed with a paper seal.

WHO ARE ELIGIBLE:
All Filipinos abroad who are 18 years of age by the time of the election, and Natural-born Filipinos who obtained Australian Citizenship but availed of the Dual Citizenship Programme thereby re-acquiring Filipino citizenship.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS (originals must be presented):
• Photocopy of valid Philippine passport; and
• Photocopy of Dual Citizenship Identification Certificate issued by the Consulate or the Philippine Bureau of Immigration.
WHERE TO REGISTER:
Philippine Consulate General, Sydney, 27-33 Wentworth Ave. Sydney, or during mobile OAV registration. Notices will be posted at the Consulate’s website at www.philippineconsulate.com.au
